BB Gym practitioner cabinet: getting started
The practitioner cabinet at bbgym.club/pro/ lets you assign cognitive exercises to your clients and follow their results. Clients do not need to sign up: they get a personal link and open the exercises on a phone or a computer.
Methods
The cabinet has 6 methods:
| Method | What it trains |
|---|---|
| Schulte | Attention and speed of visual search. |
| TMT | Speed, attention and switching from one task to another. |
| Stroop | Focus: holding back the automatic answer. |
| Go/No-Go | Self-control: react in time and hold back when needed. |
| Corsi | Visual memory: remember the order in which blocks light up. |
| Digit Span | Short-term memory: repeat a row of digits. |
Getting access
For now the cabinet is open by invitation only. Write to us through the contact form and give the email address you will sign in with: we will open access for it.
- Open bbgym.club/pro/, enter your email and press “Send sign-in link”. No password is needed.
- Open the email on the same device and click the link. It works once: if it has expired, ask for a new one.
- On your first sign-in, accept the terms, confirm you have your clients’ consent and press “Create cabinet”.
Client names are kept only in this browser and never reach the server. So that you do not lose them, “Settings” offers two ways:
- “Save a copy”: a file with the names and notes. Open it in another browser with “Restore from a copy”.
- “Protect with a password”: the names are encrypted with your password and open on any device. We do not know this password and cannot reset it, so keep the recovery key safe.
Clients
The main path is three steps on the “Clients” tab.
- “Add client”. A name and a tick that you have the client’s consent (for a child, the parents’ or guardian’s) are enough. The other fields are under “More”.
- “Assign an exercise”. Pick a ready exercise or one of yours from “My exercises”. In “Per day”, set how many times a day the client may do it.
- Send the link. Copy it, share it in a messenger or show a QR code for the phone camera. The client opens the link and sees their tasks right away.
The link is permanent: new exercises appear for the client by themselves, so there is no need to send it again. If the link reached the wrong person, press “New link”: the old one stops working at once.
If the client does the exercise in your office, open the “Reception” tab and hand them your device. To leave, hold the top right corner for 3 seconds. To keep the client away from your data, set a pattern for leaving in “Settings”.
Exercises
An exercise is a method together with its settings. To start with, the ready “Standard” exercises are enough: they cannot be changed, so their results can always be compared.
- Your own exercise. On the “Exercises” tab, press “Make a copy” or “New exercise”. The “Start from” field fills in the settings for an age group in one tap: group 1 is younger schoolchildren, 2 teenagers, 3 adults, 4 older people.
- The name of an exercise is seen only by you, for example “Stroop for grades 2–3”. The client sees only the name of the method.
- “Try it yourself” shows the exercise exactly as the client will see it. Your result is not saved.
- Versions. Once an exercise has sessions, changing its settings creates a new version. That way old and new results are not mixed on the chart.
- Device requirements (a keyboard, a large screen) are shown on the exercise card. Check them before you send the link.
Results
New results show up straight away in the client list, under “New results”. The client card has:
- “Progress”: a chart of the scores across all sessions of one version of an exercise;
- “Sessions”: the list of runs. Each opens as a report with the method’s scores (reaction time, errors, points) and quality marks, for example if the client left the page or made long pauses.
Print the report or save it as a PDF with “Print”. All data can be exported to CSV or JSON in “Settings”.
The results show how the person did the exercise. This is not a diagnosis.
Languages and hints
The cabinet and the client page work in 10 languages: Ukrainian, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
Every setting and score has an ⓘ icon next to it. Tap it to see in plain words what it means and how it affects the exercise.
