What the task involves

The challenge is to compare a missing patch with several similar candidates. Colour alone may not distinguish them: a line can meet one edge correctly while the pattern fails to join at another. You use the surrounding picture as evidence and check whether each candidate continues its details. This describes the demands of this puzzle, rather than a measured change in attention outside the game.

A strategy to try

Start with a distinctive line or colour boundary beside the hole. Eliminate pieces whose corresponding edge does not match, then check another edge before selecting. If two candidates remain, compare the internal pattern as well. Matching one border is a useful clue, but is not enough to prove that a piece fits the whole picture. Try the same checking order across several rounds and watch where mistakes occur.

Understanding your result

Compare rounds at the same difficulty and with a similar screen size. Small details, familiarity with the patterns and hurried taps can all affect the result. A faster answer is useful only if the piece is correct; review wrong matches before trying to increase the pace. Improvement here shows increasing familiarity or skill at this puzzle. It does not establish better eyesight, relief from eye strain or a general improvement in attention.
