Detectorattention and self-control game
Coloured shapes grow on the board, each labelled with a colour + shape. Tap only when the label truly matches the shape; ignore the liars. Trains attention, inhibition and reaction speed.

The Detector simulator is an exciting challenge for reaction speed and the ability to overcome internal contradictions. Various colored shapes constantly appear on the playing field, inside which there is an inscription in the format "color plus shape". Your task is to click on a shape only if the text inscription absolutely truthfully describes what you see in front of you. If the inscription is false and contradicts the real picture, such a shape must be ignored.
WHAT IT DEVELOPS AND EXACTLY WHY
This game is aimed at the comprehensive development of attention, speed of thinking, speech, and, most importantly, cognitive flexibility. The mechanics of the simulator are a classic variation of the famous Stroop test. It is based on the discovery of the American psychologist John Ridley Stroop, who published an epoch-making study on cognitive interference in 1935.
Stroop proved that the human brain reads words so automatically that this process outpaces the conscious recognition of colors or geometric shapes. When you see a red square that says "blue circle," a powerful conflict of word and image arises. The automatic reading system shouts one thing, and the visual analyzer another. To avoid making a mistake, you need to apply impulse inhibition. Your prefrontal cortex is forced to forcibly stop the reflex action and allow time for conscious comparison. Regularly overcoming this conflict phenomenally trains the brain's ability to switch between rules and adapt its approach.
HOW TO PLAY AND STRATEGY
The main trap of this simulator is the attempt to react to the object with lightning speed. Because the reading skill is stronger and faster, you risk tapping on the wrong object just because you read a familiar word. The best strategy is to consciously change the algorithm of actions: first carefully check the correspondence of the text and the image, and only after internal confirmation allow yourself to react physically. Over time, this microcycle of analysis will become so fast that you will start clicking without visible delays.
FOR WHOM AND WHEN IT IS USEFUL
This simulator is an ideal exercise for those who have to work with contradictory information, make decisions under stress, or struggle with their own impulsivity. It is perfect for daily training of self-control, helping to keep a clear mind and not succumb to provocations or deceptive first impressions.
